We encourage that each player thoroughly review our Naming Policy prior to creating a character. The player that is found in violation of the policy will not have a choice of a new name. We will be changing names that are found to be violations to a suitable fantasy name of the Game MasterвЂ™s choice. Additional offenses will consist of further account actions, including possible closure. For kinships that are in violation, the kinship name will be changed and the account of the kinship leader will be placed on a one day suspension for a first offense. For characters that violate this rule, your character name will be changed and your account will be automatically placed on a one day suspension for a first offense. This means that if your character or kinship name is in violation, the name will be changed without question. There is a Zero Tolerance rule in effect for the following name violations: Misspelled variations or homonyms of any of the above rules.Names causing harm, mockery or imitation of Lord of the Rings Online players or NPCs, in addition to Standing Stone Games, LLC.Names containing ranks, titles or denotation of power.Common names, slang or references to drug related substances, culture or paraphernalia.Trademarked names of products, goods, materials or services.Names of historical or religious significance.Sexually explicit, defamatory, obscene, racially or ethnically offensive names or slang.Fantasy or non-fantasy names from popular culture or media.Proper names and places or close facsimiles thereof, from the story characters or non-player characters (NPCs) introduced in the fiction of Lord of the Rings Online.The Lord of the Rings Online Support has final say over what constitutes a violation of the character naming policy.

Some names that do not fall within one of the examples below may still be inappropriate. The following are examples of character names that are NOT appropriate for The Lord of the Rings Online. Although this is not required, it does help to shape a fun, engaging, and immersive world for everyone. Each race has its own naming conventions and it is encouraged that you select a name befitting the race and spirit of your character. Sometimes its understandable, but someplaces are just fun to visit and worth to be explored. Moreover, there is always a risk that a known climbing spot to a seemingly inaccessible spot, will be closed by the devs. I am not gonna tell you exactly how I reached them, since that would spoil the adventure. If you wanna know some nice spots, just read my blogs and try to figure out who to reach them. You just bump into something solid, and can't proceed any further.ДЄh well, it's always worth a try to reach an inaccessible spot, take a picture and be happy that you have ever reached it. Most of the time you see nothing of a closed spot, but you will 'feel' it when you reached it: its closed by an invisible wall. The point is, if an inaccessible place is known to be reached, the devs close is for sure.
